Meiruja Karanbir graduated at La Trobe University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Podiatric Practice.
Since graduating Meiruja has developed a keen interest in the management of geriatrics, specifically in prevention and education of foot-related complications. Growing her passion in the private and community sectors of health, she is experienced in diabetes care, foot biomechanics, foot and ankle injuries, nail surgeries and procedures, paediatric care and has been able to expand her expertise acquiring dry needling and advanced taping techniques.
She loves being able to make a small difference in each of her patient's lives, to make them smile a little more each day and strives to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes for every individual she engages.
Meiruja is fluent in Tamil and has vast experience working with those who do not speak English fluently. She is an active member of her Hindu community and loves celebrating her culture!
When Meiruja isn't at work, you can find her working up a sweat at f45 with her husband, trying to learn new recipes to cook or spending time at home with her family!
