The European Union has released the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a set of standards and regulations for data privacy. Owner Health, like most companies, has adapted their recommendations.

Useful information here:

The GDPR advocates a person's digital rights, in particular:

  1.  Client consent to the storage of information
  2.  Permanently delete information

We have made some changes to allow you to facility these rights.

Client consent to the storage of information
The GDPR advocates a person must consent to the storage of their data. We've added a checkbox to the new client forms, edit client form and online bookings; to record your response. You can also add your businesses' privacy policy in settings to update your online bookings page.

Permanently delete information
The GDPR advocates a client has the right to remove their data from your database. Previously, Owner Health used a "soft delete" function; data wasn't deleted, just hidden from view. We've made a few changes behind the scenes to allow you to delete when required.
