Abdul graduated from La Trobe University in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences majoring in Human Physiology and Anatomy providing him with the foundational knowledge to then complete his Masters of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University in 2021.
Throughout his studies, Abdul gained a significant interest in knee and shoulder biomechanics and injuries, which he intends to pursue clinically. He is especially interested in sporting related shoulder and knee injuries. Abdul also has a keen interest in the diagnosis and management of sporting injuries, acute back pain, neck pain, chronic pain, falls and balance training, headaches, geriatrics, paediatrics, general reconditioning, antenatal and postpartum. Abdul provides a holistic approach to his treatment sessions incorporating exercise, manual therapy and a thorough education program.
Abdul has an active lifestyle outside of physiotherapy, including hiking on weekends and playing basketball with his mates. Abdul is a big sports geek and enjoys having discussions about it with his clients, his favourite sports to follow include basketball, mma, boxing, F1 and AFL. Abdul has a background in martial arts and currently pursues amateur boxing however he spent many years learning the art of Shotokan Karate. His hobbies include film photography, camping, and spending quality time with his family and cat.
Abdul is available on Sundays 1pm to 5pm. He is based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne and currently services Metropolitan Melbourne.
