Katie graduated from the Doctor of Physiotherapy program at Melbourne University and then spent a number of years working in the public health sector. There she gained experience working in many different areas including orthopaedic, geriatric and neurological slow and fast stream rehabilitation and community health. In these settings, she helped facilitate different group programs including falls and balance and hydrotherapy. Using these experiences, it allowed her to move overseas to Luxembourg where she worked as a physiotherapy lecturer.
Katie works part-time while raising her young family. Her goal with patients is to restore function to the greatest degree to get people back to what they want to be doing.
Outside of work Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going for runs with her dog, loves to travel and is a passionate outdoor sports enthusiast including mountain biking, snowboarding, tennis, surfing, and hiking.
