My name is Rae, I graduated from Curtin University, Western Australia in 2020. During my studies I worked as a support worker and went on to work for the same company as a physiotherapist, servicing NDIS participants in the community. I also began working in the aged care sector on the lead up to moving to Queensland. Since moving here in August, I have worked in a small private practice and continued my APPI clinical pilates qualification whilst teaching various reformer and matwork classes. I believe what makes a good physiotherapist is an ability to communicate well with participants, develop a mutually beneficial therapeutic alliance and work towards achieving realistic client goals.
I will be providing mobile physiotherapy services to the southern suburbs on Sundays, to provide some peace of mind, understanding and hopefully some relief outside of regular work hours.
I am a bubbly, active person who tries their hardest to understand where someone is coming from and find a management approach that best suits them and their individual goals. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, walking, and playing AFL!
