Ross is truly a globetrotter! Originally from South Africa, Ross graduated with a Bsc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University, holds a BA Communication Studies and Psychology minor from Nebraska University, USA. Ross has 5 years’ experience in private practice, treating everyone from weekend warriors to elite athletes, including the Sandringham Zebras VFL team. Ross has also treated factory workers with repetitive strain injuries, but it was his time performing home visits which led him to develop a special interest in home care and rehabilitation in the home.
Ross enjoys treating with a holistic approach, and likes to keep his patients moving as much as possible. He enjoys treating the whole body and trying to keep home exercise-based programs simple. He finds that a good home rehabilitation program can be just as good as clinical Pilates and dry needling, as effective tools in assisting patients to achieve their desired outcomes.
In his spare time, Ross enjoys taking his daughter to the park, going on bush walks and discovering Australia. Other hobbies involve golf, camping and staying fit. Ross enjoys rugby union, and supports the Melbourne Rebels and is slowly getting into AFL.
