I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. My educational background includes a Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy and Master of Applied Science (Exercise Rehabilitation).
My clinical expertise includes the delivery of exercise prescription, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs for the prevention and management of various complex medical conditions. Having held positions within the hospital setting , age care facilities and private-practice, I have experience working with a wide range of clientele.
My passion for finding solutions to the various challenges experienced by patients allows me to find innovative, exciting and fun ways to improve their physical capacity, motivation, strength and mobility to allow them to become the best version of themselves.
Special areas of interest include diabetes, cancer, mental health, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and chronic fatigue syndrome.
I believe it is crucial to implement an evidence-based approach to provide specific and individualised exercise interventions to give direction to people in achieving their goals and creating a positive influence to take place in their life.
