Michael is a highly proficient, conscientious and empathetic Physiotherapist who is passionate about using holistic, evidence based and client centered care to empower people to self-manage their injury concerns safely and independently.
Since graduating from the University of South Australia in 2017, Michael has built upon his skills and knowledge in various areas of Physiotherapy including musculoskeletal private practice, aged care, worker's compensation & occupational health, and sports rehabilitation. He began his career as a Physiotherapist in Occupational Health, providing proactive Physiotherapy treatment to multiple corporate clients including Woolworths, Westpac, Coca Cola Amatil, various Government agencies through Comcare, and the Australian Defence Force. He has complemented this with part time roles in private practice and aged care, as well as providing physiotherapy injury management to community sporting organisations.
His diverse background has equipped him with a unique skill set to treat a variety of different clientele - ranging from people with disabilities; chronic pain; work-related musculoskeletal injuries; enhancing sports performance; and falls & balance prevention with the elderly. Michael’s philosophy is to treat the individual rather than just the injury or condition. Michael takes the time to set collaborative goals with clients (from a work-related, clinical, personal and/or sporting perspective), to ensure they receive care that is relevant and meaningful. This multifaceted approach to healthcare endears him to people, allowing him to build close and trusting relationships with all of his clients – and most importantly, it achieves outstanding results.
Outside of work, Michael loves nothing more than spending valuable time with his wife and young family. He loved playing soccer growing up and he still enjoys passionately following all sports - mainly the Adelaide Crows and Liverpool Football Club.
