Mary-Anne graduated from Latrobe University in 2016 with a Masters of physiotherapy practice, and has recently returned to Latrobe University for post graduate studies in sports physiotherapy. Since graduating, Mary-Anne has worked in the private practice sector, and within soccer and Australian rules football clubs.
Mary-Anne has a strong interest in all sports injuries, with a particular interest in knee and hip injuries. Her experience has also lead to an interest in managing and preventing spinal conditions, and osteoarthritis. In 2017, Mary-Anne became qualified as a GLA:D Australia physiotherapist. Since, she has been running the GLA:D program consisting of exercise and education for those with knee and hip osteoarthritis, and is passionate about the importance of education in making lifestyle changes for people with osteoarthritis.
In her spare time, Mary-Anne likes to complete the odd triathlon, with her passion drawn from her past days as an elite swimmer. You might also find Mary-Anne supporting her favourite team, the Western Bulldogs on the weekends.
