Lorna brings with her 27 years experience as a Physiotherapist. She started her career with a broad based hospital experience initially, and then specialised in Primary Health Care, since 1995, in both private practice and community settings.
She has extensive experience of treating musculo-skeletal and orthopaedic conditions, with a particular interest in exercise-based rehabilitation, including Clinical Pilates.
She has worked in a variety of community settings in clients' homes, aged care facilities, clinics, gyms and hydrotherapy pools and with different demographics; from young workers with work related injuries, to the elderly, wanting to stay in shape and on their feet!
She also has over 10 years of mobile physiotherapy experience, working with mostly elderly clients wanting to improve their general condition, after surgery or a hospital stay, or to recover their balance and confidence, following a fall.
Lorna's patients appreciate her warm, caring approach; although they know she will push them to work towards their goals!
Outside of physiotherapy, Lorna enjoys getting out on the water, sailing any size yacht with her fellow crew, as often as she can. When not on the water, she enjoys getting outdoors for a walk, in Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches.
