Johnson graduated with honors from the University of Queensland in 2011 and then relocated to regional Queensland to work inpatient and outpatient settings for 5 years. In 2017, Johnson returned to Brisbane and completed his master in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Johnson is proficient in treating both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions using the latest research. His approach is client-centered and goal orientated. Johnson uses a variety of treatment techniques including manual therapy, massage, dry needling, exercise prescription to assist his client's recovery. In the initial session, Johnson completes a comprehensive assessment to identify the source of the problem for designing a targeted management program. In the subsequent sessions, Johnson assists his clients to gradually return to previous working or sports level. Before discharge, a long term management plan is also provided to reduce the risk of future injury.
Johnson has a keen interest in managing patellofemoral knee pain, shoulder pain and spinal injury. Johnson serves southwest Brisbane on the weekdays morning and southeast Brisbane on Saturday afternoon. Other time, Johnson works at the Carina Central Physiotherapy, a postgraduate musculoskeletal clinic.
