Before Graduating from the Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, I studied Exercise Science in the USA, while representing the university on a tennis scholarship. I have worked with various sporting organisations including the AFL umpires association in addition to grass roots football clubs. Since then I have worked in various roles both in private practice and in a hospital environment, both in the UK and Australia, giving me extensive experience in treating patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Apart from my experience in manual therapy, rehabilitation and sports injuries, my special interests include biomechanics, functional recovery, and clinical pilates training. I have completed Mat Level 1 and Equipment Level 1 Certificate in Pilates, and Level 1 Dry Needling Certificate, along with several courses on the knee and shoulder.
Aside from playing tennis at a highly competitive level, I have been involved in ironman triathlon and marathon racing, competing in the several races including the half ironman and long course world championships and completing 2 Melbourne marathons. I now play tennis competitively and have had experience in coaching during my time in the USA.
I am available during the week in most areas of Melbourne.
I take pride in my compassionate nature and ability to listen to each individuals personal goals and concerns. I enjoy problem solving and working through each persons challenges and rehabilitation path.
