Alan is a locally trained physiotherapist whose treatment style focuses on hands-on manual techniques combined with a personalized exercise program to address underlying muscular strength and control deficits. He has completed his advanced dry needling course which allows him to integrate western acupuncture into the treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
Since graduating from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours, Alan has worked in private practices across Brisbane’s south side. He has a keen interest in the management of headaches, neck pain and shoulder pain. He has completed the Watson Headache Course in Sydney and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy Program at the University of Queensland where his research focuses on understanding mechanisms driving pain summation in whiplash injuries and low back pain.
Outside the world of physiotherapy, Alan enjoys fishing, painting and working out at the gym.
